Wedding Requirements In St Lucia

An application for a Marriage License can be made immediately on arrival. Fees are determined according to the expedition at which you require the license. Same Day licenses are currently US$200, otherwise the regular fee for a Marriage License is US$125. Some hotels will offer a FREE Wedding Package where the License will be included. Standard Documentation is Required:

  • Valid Passport.
  • Divorce Decree (if an Applicant has been divorced). Note that the original or certified copy should be presented as proof.
  • A death certificate (original or certified copy) of the spouse (in the case of a widow/widower.
  • A Deed Poll (if the name has been changed).
  • An authenticated translation in addition to the originals if required documents are not in English.
